So, we have established that myself and my hubby watch TableTop on YouTube, and that we love playing board games. Well, have you heard of the Tiny Epic games? No, then you are missing out! The Tiny Epic series are great for short play times and for small spaces (easy to travel). These are dice rolling games and the dice are tossed into the cover of the game box.

Tiny Epic Galaxies is the first of this gaming line that we picked up. It was a birthday gift for my hubby because he was really interested in playing this game after seeing it explained by Wil Wheaton on TableTop in SE4. You gain and spend energy & culture to gain more spaceships & gain planets to gather points to win the game. Seems a little complicated, but once you have one run through your able to grasp how the game plays out.
The second Tiny Epic game that we picked up is Tiny Epic Kingdoms. Watch it Played has an excellent tutorial on YouTube. This game plays out differently than Tiny Epic Galaxies because there are meeples, but it is just as fun. Each player has a their own kingdom, and each kingdom has it's own special advantages. The resources are ore (red), manna (green) and food (yellow). And you use these resources to battle.
That's all for the Tiny Epic games. If you have played, do you have a favorite version? If so, let me know in the comments.
Later Days,
Jen
